Medieval Ruby Ring Circa 1400
Medieval Ruby Ring Circa 1400
This exquisite gold ring, adorned with a cubic zirconia, symbolizes the widespread use of rings during the Middle Ages. The original ring is kept at the Victoria and Albert museum and is set with a natural diamond crystal. The shoulders are inscribed in black letters ave / maria.
Its unique inscription and design offer a glimpse into the culture and fashion of 1400s Western Europe, in which rings were worn by adults and children often on multiple fingers.

Please note: gold or silver plated rings are not intended for constant wearing. Please take your ring off while taking a shower, washing the dishes, etc. to keep the gold shining longer.
