Frankish (Merovingian) Belt Ornament

A Frankish belt ornament similar to one at the MET museum.

It comes in a bronze version and a gold version that has an extra loop on the end so it can be used as a pendant.

These ornaments were typically hung from the belt and other useful items like keys were suspended from it.
